The latest evolution the Hifi Comp with a new 4 strut set up, Liquid Force have decided to lose the center strut on the 2011 Hifi to improve air flow and aerodynamics the most important area of the kite. This has given the kite faster movement through the air and making it feel much more aggressive than last years model. The 2010 kite boosted incredible high but if you want to go bigger and chuck in some big kite loops the 2011 Hifi Comp will not let you down.

The kite offers incredible direct feeling in the bar, unparalleled pop and powerful kite loops all wrapped into a supercharged package. The design of the Hifi Comp which morphs C-kite performance with hybrid SLE range, gives the 2011 Hifi a huge wind range with the 9m getting going at around 18kn going up to around 35kn. Whether your attempting your first raley of dropping your shoulder to stomp a S-Mobe, the Hifi Comp will take you to the outer limits of progressive freestyle kiteboarding

The LF CPR release allows riders an instant and effortless safety release of the kite, with either hand, from the front or back of the bar, to either the 100% de-power flag line or 90% de-power mainline leash options.

BOMB PROOF CONSTRUCTION GLUED AND STITCHED PANEL ASSEMBLY

The entire panel layout of our kites is glued and stitched using an overlapped seam assembly. This construction has proven throughout the years to be the strongest on the market. We have also discovered the perfect Dacron reinforcement to weight ratio to ensure the highest quality for your investment. Our signature molded EVA leading edge bumpers are light, strong and will protect your LE during self-launch, hard crashes, snow re-launch, and normal everyday wear and tear.

WINGTIPS, UNIQUE LF DIAMOND WINGTIP DESIGN

While most other kite designs on the market only use round wingtips, at Liquid force we believe in our unique Diamond Wingtip design. The Diamond wingtip not only provides huge de-power and easier relaunch over traditional curved wingtips, but provides a rigid structure as well as instant and predictable kite response. REINFORCED LEADING EDGE STRUCTURE DOUBLE LAYER LE CONSTRUCTION

When crashing at full power, no other part of the kite absorbs as much impact as the leading edge, specifically the center of the leading edge. Our center leading edge segments are beefed up by doubling the amount of Dacron used in production, but only where it’s truly needed. This will not increase the weight of the LE but will give your kite the ability to hit the water hard all day, worry free.

STRUTS ANGLED JET STRUT ENDS DESIGN

Our angled Jet Struts prevent any of the bridles from getting stuck at the end of the strut during intensive water relaunch. Reliability is the word!

 

CPR Control System Bar
The LF CPR system allows an instant and effortless safety release of the kite, with either the left or the right hand, from the front or back of the bar. Once engaged, the bar will release from the chicken loop to either the 100% de-power flag line or 90% de-power main line leash options. While the primary focus for this new system was on safety and release advancements, the entire bar has been redesigned and improved. Julien Fillion teamed up with industrial designer Miles Hammond to create the new CPR, the most advanced, easy to use and reliable control bar and safety system in kiteboarding.

100% DE-POWER FLAG LINE
The LF CPR Control System has a 100% De-power flag line leash attachment option. When attaching the leash to the flag line and releasing the bar via CPR (or simply letting go) the kite will completely de-power and fall to the water. This will leave the kite connected to only one front line, and allow the rider to work their way back to the bar, reset the CPR if engaged, and either relaunch the kite or wrap it up for another session.
